I’m glad you’re here! I’m Jen, owner of The Little Hen, wife to John & mama to James & Rosie. I love living & working right here in Woodstock, GA & am excited to make shopping at The Little Hen even easier for those who aren’t local, with the launch of our new website!

With a background in retail & a degree in Fashion Merchandising from UGA (Go Dawgs!), I’ve always dreamed of having a boutique of my own, but never thought about opening a children’s store. After becoming a mama, though, I realized that there was a void in our area & we needed a place to shop locally for our little loves.

In September 2022, after over a year of planning & preparation, with the support & encouragement of my husband & family: I decided to take the leap of faith & open The Little Hen. After all, what better time to open a small business than on the heels of a pandemic & on the verge of an economic downturn?!

It has brought me so much joy, watching your babies turn into toddlers, celebrating all the milestones, being the first to know about your pregnancies, helping you plan your gender reveals & watching your babes delight in the excitement of playing in our little shop. It also means the world to me, to be the one you turn to during your moments of grief. These relationships are priceless & they mean more than you’ll ever know.

It is & always has been my mission to bring you the sweetest, hand-picked collections of clothing, shoes, accessories & gifts for your littles, from birth through toddlerhood & beyond. With your support, I hope to be able to expand our offerings & continue to be the place you can shop for unique finds!
